There were a surprising number to choose from, including Plan 9 from Outer Space, and one called Pull my Daisy that starred most of the really famous Beat Poets, but I had to go with George Gershwin:
Porgy and Bess, directed by Otto Preminger, starring Sidney Poitier, Dorothy Dandridge, Sammy Davis Jr., Pearl Bailey, Diahann Carroll, and Ivan Dixon. With Maya Angelou and Nichelle Nichols in uncredited parts. Some of the songs from it are "Summertime," "I Got Plenty o' Nuttin'," and "It Ain't Necessarily So."
