I know I have been bad about posting pictures, but I did finally figure out how to do it. It is actually quite easy with Photobucket so I will get busy. Sorry Lee, I hope I am not on your bad list

And here is my original log cabin on the side of the mountain in the woods. This is not a great picture since I was mainly taking pictures of the fall leave colors. Truman, those are the leaves that are still hanging on. I will find a better one soon of the cabin. And yes Lee, I haven't forgot what I am supposed to post for you

Finally, I am getting better about how to post pics.

There are quite a few wild animals running around. I'm not too wild about the bears, but luckily they seldom come. I only saw them once and that was from a distance. Because there is a lot of property and woods still left between here and all the development they are doing on top of the mountain many animals have been chased out of their original homes. I guess they feel safer here than in the middle of gated communities. It is truly a shame how the mountains here are being wrecked by development. Many, many wealthy people have decided they want to live, or at least have a huge house, here.

house for use in movies...Your place looks so authentic to the time period ,,,all the way back to the colonial days.

Thanks Janice. I'm glad you like them. The logs on the cabin do go back to before the civil war so that is getting right back there to colonial times. Maybe they could use the house in a future BBM

Now that would be fun.

In this pic it looks like you were living in the middle of the woods, miles and miles away from anything (but turkeys

Thanks Truman! Yes you could probably run around nekkid if you wanted to. There are other houses down the way, but it is secluded especially during the summer when all the leaves are on. It is very quiet up here for sure.
