You're right, Lynne.  Actually, the song is from 1944, written by Frank Loesser.  It was included in a film callled "Neptune's Daughter" in 1949, recorded by Ricardo Montalban and Esther Williams, and won the Oscar for best song. 


It's been recorded by more than 100 "couples", including, bizarrely, Mae West and Rock Hudson at the 1958 Academy Awards.  Oy.
