Kyushu: a poem by twistedude

Kyushu

Cold, sweet snow
Has fallen on cherry blossoms
In a collaboration
Of winter and spring

But in a place I've never been
Nor will ever go.
"We're each of us alone, to be sure. What can you do but hold your hand out in the dark?" --"Nine Lives," by Ursula K. Le Guin, from The Wind's Twelve Quarters
