Me too!!! I have seen some interviews with some of the gangsta rap stars and it is always the same idea. It is this thing about I grew up in the ghetto so now I need to talk about what the system did to me and destroy things more. The thing is that it might be time to do something constructive with the hatred instead of promoting violence, murder, drugs, pimping, and the like. Seeing interviews like that made me just shut down the gangsta rap. Hey these guys are rich now so do something to help, not hurt, the communities you came from. And to make sure I stay on topic here that is the reason the 50 Cent song is not in my top 3. Well said, you two.  I agree, I even heard some singer one time say how these 'angry' groups need to get over themselves, especially if they become successful.

"After you make your millions, what do you have to be angry about?"

Meaning, these people are now in a position to do something about certain situations, instead of forever playing the victim and emoting about 'the man keeping them down'.

Thanks Chuck! I will check those out. I think I have listened to Z100 before and possibly even 95.5. I like listening to radio stations from other cities to see what music they are playing plus sometimes it makes me feel like I am somewhere else

Richard, I just posted a new topic where you can post your top ten favorite country songs of 2007. I have thought about doing this since I know many of our members do mainly listen to country music. Your post made me decide for sure. I am going to try and calculate a list of the Top Ten Favorite Country Songs of 2007 as determined by members of Bettermost. Hopefully several people will post lists so I have a lot of data to work with.
