Our opera was a big success, and we got a nice review today, too!  Here's the link:

Now I'm looking forward to a relaxing week enjoying Alaska and attending the remaining 3 performances.  If the roads are good, I'm going to drive south a bit to Alyeska Resort and take a cable car up to the restaurant on the mountain top and enjoy the view while I eat lunch.  My rental car doesn't have good snow tires, so I won't be trying to drive to Fairbanks again this trip!

Louise and Jeff, just snuggle up to the heating element of your choice and enjoy the snowy view!  8)

A boneless blue morning in Philadelphia, temperature 18F when I walked out the front door of my building this morning. No problems with public transit to get to work. More snow on the way. A Winter Storm Watch is already in effect. Disagreement among the talking TV weatherheads on the projected amounts.

We're back to icy cold temperatures (-8°C/17°F) and snow. This morning I woke up to the sound of my husband shovelling snow. Now (two hours later) the sidewalk is yet again covered in white and I ought to grab the shovel. But I don't want to!
I don't want any more snow. I don't want temps below the freezing point. I'm sick of winter.

Someone please bring spring. Pretty please (*pouts*)

After yesterday's storm, which didn't end until late last night, Philadelphia is now officially having its snowiest winter ever, since records began to be kept.

I have to admit I'm not particularly minding actually having a winter during the winter. It's a nice change.  :-\
