I'm so sorry about poor Tina  :'(

Sounds like the most important thing is to keep her comfortable and not suffering as long as needed  :-*

'Voulez-vous, will you kiss my dick?'
Will you play my record? One-track mind!

Poor little Tinchen.  It's so hard to think that an animal might be suffering.  We're so happy when they first arrive, and we don't think that someday we will have to say goodbye.  Warm thoughts to you and your family.

Thank you everyone. Today (Sunday) she is a little more lively compared to the days prior. More interested, more spark (and more bark!) in her.
While she has been eagerly taking treats all the time, she has not eaten her regular food for two or three days. Last night however she started eating again and continues to do so today.
So maybe the meds work and we can keep her a little longer. But I'm not sure I want to go through with plans of a big surgery. We'll see what the vet says tomorrow evening. He's been our vet for many years, and I totally trust his advice.

I'm glad she's feeling energetic and eating again.   Hoping for good news on Monday.

Thanks, Chuckie.
We got mixed news. The bad part first: the vet cancelled surgery. Doesn't make sense. :'(
But at least for now, she's doing okay. We're continuing with the meds, have another vet appointment next Monday, have another round of X-rays then, see how the lungs look. We'll continue with meds as long as she's okay. Then there's highly dosed cortinsone as last option, which can buy more time by making the dog feel good despite being very sick.

Over the last days she learned very quickly she's now getting bits from the table, and she's making use of it
I don't know how much longer we can keep her. Might be only a short time. But the time she has left, she will be spoiled to no end. Ham, p?t?, cat food, even more cuddles, whatever.

Sending feelgood thoughts to Tina.

I'm glad there's ways to keep her feeling better (and get more treats!) for the time she has left.
