An interesting snag in the shower department...the indoor shower is leaking and needs to be replaced. Handyman husband is on the job but that means we all need to move back outdoors for the next five days...or maybe move to the Holiday Inn!

An update, for anyone who cares...

These are the pleasures of living in a 200+ year old home (our house was builit in 1803). Rooms are small, awkward and weren't designed for modern conveniences like plumbing or electricity.

At the moment, I have a hole in the floor where the indoor shower used to be. That bathroom also included a sink and toilet which are now both gone So I have been reduced to a 1/2 bath household....

but we have the outdoor shower.

but it is freezing.

But...there is the Holiday Inn.

Thursday am, 32 degrees

Frost everywhere and dark. No indoor shower, just a giant hole in the floor. I am supposed to go to Lowe's or Home Depot today and buy a shower. Hannah and I want something Scandinavian, with a heated floor. My husband just rolled his eyes. Do they sell Scandinavian showers at Lowe's? I have no idea. I have 38" to work with.

Decorating ideas are welcome!
