Hi Leslie!

Same here.   Saturday was the heavy rains and yesterday was the high winds here too.     No storm damage at my house thank goodness.   Just some flash flooding on some of the streets.    The high winds did blow some of the leaves out of my yard!    Yay!    Plenty of small branches to go pickup however.

I love Mondays!    Well,  now that they are my Saturdays!    ;D

Not that I slept in today.    The early bird gets to read Louisev's next chapter right?    ;)

Very true.

David, I dreamt about you last night! That is, when I was dreaming about Ellery. LOL.

You dream about Ellery instead of Ennis?  :o

Over the weekend, I was thinking about you in Portland and Paul heading down to Provincetown as I was watching weatherhunk Jim Cantore take a beating in Gloucester. David, if you're reading this, I didn't realize it was bad in central Connecticut, too--I just kept hearing about the coast.

Your property come through OK?

You wouldn't believe who I dream about...the other night, young Brad Pitt showed up. I am not particularly fond of Brad Pitt but he was lookin' mighty fine in my sleep. LOL. One consistent fact....the interesting people who populate my dreamland are all MEN.

Tell you what, first time I laid eyes on Brad Pitt, in Thelma and Louise, I says to myself, I says, "That boy's gonna be a BIG star!"

Leslie Dear,  what exactly was I doing in your dream about me and Ellery?   <big grin>

Jeff,  no property damage here at my house.    We did have wind gusts up to 60 mph though!    My American flag out front is pretty tattered now.   I need to get a new one.     I forgot to take it down before the storm.    It's been up since 9-11-01 so it is pretty faded anyways.

What a nice day today!     I spent a good part of it tinkering with the new wagon.    Hopefully tomorrow will be nice enough to finish waxing it.

It is Tuesday and I am still in the outdoor shower!

31 degrees today but clear and no wind at all, so it wasn't too bad. And with the time change it is not dark in the morning which makes things a lttle bit better.

Happy Halloween everyone! We don't have trick or treaters at our house (not that I am against them or anything, they just don't show up). Hannah is exporting herself to a friend's neighborhood to make sure she gets her full bag of halloween booty.

Since you live in an old house, do you have any ghosts, Leslie?
