Rub it in, Mark, rub it in.  ;)  ;D

Raining like an SOB down here this morning.

And can somebody please explain to me why the buses are always crowded--and late--when it rains? The crowds--where are these people on sunny days? Do they, maybe, not exist except when it rains? Are they like those little critters (I forget what they called them) that you used to be able to buy off the back of bubble gum wrappers that "come to life" when you put them in water?  >:(

Hi Jeff
If it will make you feel any better the beach itself was socked in with low think clouds today, Santa Ana's are over. Still very nice inland. But it was great at the beach the last two days, very warn sunny and clear and lots of nice scenery.

I take it by "scenery" you were not referring to your DeSoto--which, by the way, is way cool.  ;D

It was been sunny and hot hot hot in Santa Barbara this past week-high 80's.

Mark, I may be in your neck of the woods Sunday-Monday. I'll PM you-maybe we can have meet-up.

Another dreary day. My daughter Hannah gets her wisdom teeth out today, so I get to play nurse for the weekend. Poor kid! I remember having mine out (2 days before Christmas, nice parents, huh?) and I was more miserable than any kid on this earth could be. Let's hope Hannah fares better. Send healing energy, everyone.

The rain is over finally.    It is expected to be around 67*F today.   Of course I'll be inside with the cranky Airline passengers however!    The shift manager last night ask me (and many others) to come in early as it is going to be a very busy travel day I guess.   Ugh.      Just what i need with a stiff neck from not sleeping right.

Leslie,    I had all of my impacted wisdom teeth out at once.    not a fun experience at all.   I recall the first 24 hours after the operation was the worst.   But it shall pass.     I'm sure you'll do excellent in comforting her.  :)

I had all four of mine, also impacted, out at once, also. But it was 1977, I was basically still a kid, I spent two nights in the hospital (night before and night after the procedure), I had good pain drugs--and the worst part was the idiot nurse waking me up--to give me a sleeping pill!

Edit: BTW no offense intended to nurses in general, only a slap at a fool who would wake up a sleeping person to give him a pill to help him sleep.
