Brace yourself, more bad, rainy weather coming--the storm system that hit the South yesterday.

It's clouded over in Philadelphia, and we are supposed to have heavy rain later this afternoon, maybe even severe thunderstorms. And they still haven't figured out the origin of the leak in my dining room ceiling.   

How's Hannah doing?

Hannah is doing quite well, thanks for asking. She sees the oral surgeon for her one week follow up today.

Geeez!    I think it has been raining here in CT for a week now.     I hop this is not a sign of how the winters snow season will be!   

Tell you what, with all the bad weather around yesterday in Boston (Logan) and Philly,  work was a zoo with cancelled and delayed flights.  Maybe I'll get to work at a slow baggage drop off point today.

anyone remember:  Eastern Airlines?     Pan Am?   TWA?   Allegheny?  <spelling?

I remember Eastern Airlines. A good friend of my parents was an Eastern Airlines pilot.

The Beatles flew to New York in February 1963 on Pan Am. Remember the scene of them at Kennedy Airport (was it renamed by then? or was t still Idelwild?) standing at the top of the stairs and waving to the crowd.

I flew TWA back and forth to Italy in the summer of 1971. My memory of those trips: GOOD FOOD.

Allegheny, the famous Agony Airlines. Allegheny has morphed over the years and now is USAirways. I just got an email yesterday that they are looking to merge with Delta.

How about People's Express? Remember that one David?
