Apparently the Farmer's Almanac is predicting a very long and cold winter, even in the Deep South!  :-\  :-X

And I've heard the Farmer's Almanac is rarely wrong. So button up everyone, and keep your snow shovels handy. :P

They predicted a possibility of snow flurries here last night, but I don't think it ever happened. If it did, I didn't see anything, and I was watching for it! It was cold enough though. It dipped down into the low 30s F here last night. It is currently 56 F now, but there is a stiff breeze out there and it feels rather chilly.
