Well, life is gonna be real innerestin' for the next few days.

I've now got a World Series winning team in my town, and presumably the parade will pass right under my windows. Guess somebody will be playin' hooky from work for that parade.

They're a pretty handsome crew of young men, too.  ::)

When they call for flurries everyone runs out and empties the grocery store shelves of bread and milk.
No one here can drive in snow, sleet or ice. Even the mail men stay home! LOL

Well, I might have exaggerated a little but they did say the South will be much colder than normal this winter. ;)

Thanks! The parade steps off at noon Friday.  :D

Some people got a little carried away celebrating last night. I noticed a number of broken windows on my way to the bus stop this morning.  ::)

Some numbskull, probably drunk, climbed up onto the roof of a bus shelter and promptly fell off it. No word on his condition.  ::)
