Hi Meryl! Thanks for the report!

Cold here in Maine today...24 deg when I woke up at 6 am. It's up to 33 now.

Sorry I haven't been around as much lately. I've gotten very busy on another forum: www.kindleboards.com In fact, I'm a global moderator over there now. I bought a Kindle from Amazon back in April and that little gadget has changed my life -- in a good way. It's sort of like going to see a certain movie so I know everyone here can relate! Anyway, the forum has exploded with activity in the past 10 days (I call it "the Oprah effect") so I have been out straight. It's a great forum, though. Lots of friendly people.

If anyone here has a Kindle, or is thinking about buying one, please come visit. We have a ton of useful information and everyone there loves to answer questions!

Well, I almost can't believe it myself, but I just booked my trains for my Thanksgiving holiday with my dad, and it's only November 3!  :o

Amtrak doesn't even have its schedule of extra holiday trains available, but it already has a Holiday Travel Tip page on the web site, and the daily Pennsylvanian is already sold out for the day before Thanksgiving, so I just went ahead and booked my tickets for November 26 and return November 30.

One less think to have to think about as this month goes by.  :-\
