How did it go? Did ennione put on a lampshade or dance in the fountain??

No, but it's always entertaining to see managers with a little wine in them.  ;D

Morning all,

29 degrees and snowing this morning. Our first snow of the season.

First snow here too!

Snow here Saturday evening about supper time, but it didn't stick at all, let alone for an hour.  :(

Good morning! It was 20 F when I left home this morning. Feels like Christmas!   :D

But then, it's supposed to be 60 F on Wednesday. WTF?  ???

At least, my home is now ready for Christmas. Tree is decorated, other decorations are in place, and the Christmas Village is complete.  :D

Same here, Jeff.  It's only supposed to go up to 28 today, and then 60 on Wednesday, and then back down to the 30s for Thursday.

You reminded me that I have to find some "homies" before the 20th.

If you don't know what "homies" are, they are toys you get from gumball machines.  They are representatives of the "hip hop" culture.  DJs, break dancers, and such.

every year my friends and I get together at a friend's house for a Christmas party, and he puts out a Christmas village.  I tell him each year that no town looks that way anymore, and he insists his town does.  So each year I buy a few "homies" and put them in his village when he's not looking.

Tell him when l come up to him and ask to play the record, l'm gonna say: ''Voulez-vous jouer ce disque?''
'Voulez-vous, will you kiss my dick?'
Will you play my record? One-track mind!

So, did anybody else watch the "Hallmark" movie last night, "Front of the Class"? Sure enough those "Hall of Fame" movies can be pretty saccharine, but the story of a young man overcoming an apparently bad case of Tourette Syndrome to fulfill his dream of becoming a teacher was pretty interesting--if predictable. Mainly, though, I watched because from the promos I had seen, Jimmy Wolk, an actor unknown to me, who played the lead, seemed to be incredibly cute.

And he was, he was. ...  ;D

I love the homies idea!! There is a space in my home that would be perfect for a Christmas village but instead there's a big elk antler there that we acquired on one of our jaunts. I'm going to decorate the elk antler with simple candles...gold, I think.

No, I didn't see Hallmark last nite. Instead a few of us gathered for a meal and then watched I Love Lucy on 16 mm film!! The quality was wonderful, you could see every detail of her makeup. It was the eggs-in-a-blouse episode.
