That's a cool quotation to get Lynne.  I'm still curious about the "deliberate flaw" aspect of the tattoo.  What do you mean by that? 

"Let be, let be." appears to be the correct way to write this quotation (double checking with Close Range and all).

Here's the finished product, tho there is still some irritation and redness I'm told will heal in the next 10 days or so.  Edit:  It's not as icky as it looks close-up...like I said the redness will fade.

I think that looks great!  I love the way the script looks.  And, from what I can see, even the hat bands on the cowboy hats look right... especially the hat band on Ennis's hat (I can't really see the one on the black hat too well).

You're a brave woman!  I know I'd be too scared to get a tattoo.

Thanks, Amanda!  Milli did the hats from one of the dozy embrace scenes - it was important to me that they overlap.  And I think the artist reproduced them really well in terms of the bands and the shadows and shading..kinda hard to tell with raw skin peeking thru at the moment.

I'm very pleased with it and I swear it only stung a little - I am a big baby about pain, so I wouldn't lie...Sid did a good job of laughing and keeping me preoccupied.
