The Precocious World of Bindy Irwin
« on: January 24, 2008, 12:58:41 pm »
She really gets on my nerves.  The demon seed... Bindy Irwin... WEIRD.  Always showing the wrong emotion at the wrong time, like her worst moment just after her father died: ("I did not cry when my daddy died," (giggles and smiles)), always wayyyy too perky... always making me want to throw something at the television.  Obnoxious.

She sounds like one of those little kids on the grape-juice commercials, dutifully reciting some 30-year-old copywriter's notion of what a kid talks like.

Her mom sounds a bit scripted, too.

Well, I loved Steve Irwin. He's another person whom I did not know personally, but his death hit me very hard.

Somehow, I think maybe he was a little like Bindi when he was a child. She got his personality (plus some). He was always wildly enthusiastic. At first I didn't like it so much because I'm very low key, and it seemed like an act. But as time went on -- I could tell that he was a very genuine person. Bindi gushes. But I love her because she's Steve made over.
"Gettin' tired of your dumbass missin'!"
