Is it only in the UK where you dip your biscuit in your brew?

Watching Peter Kay on tv (who buy the way is a GENIUS!) ... and this clip form it made me wonder if this is a very British thing!?!

I often dip cookies into my coffee. Chocolate chip cookies taste really good dipped in coffee, or tea. I also like to take a swig of hot coffee while the cookie is still in my mouth. I don't know, but for some reason it tastes good to me. :D
