TLAVIDEO.com is already promoting this film as a pre-order item.  I guess I won't be seeing it on the big screen.  The DVD will be released on 5/28/07 but I guess you can already have your order in.  The msg board for SHELTER on IMDB.com is quite dead.  I don't think many ppl have seen this film though it has been screened at some film festivals.  A website says scheduled for limited release on 3/21/08 in the USA?  I'd like to know where at.

Anyway, anybody going to see this tonight? Did your net guru (LOL) know a way to upload the movie on the internet, Truman?

Hugs!

I FINALLY SAW IT... online! I still want it on DVD when it comes out in Europe, because I thought it was such a touching movie, it really made me feel so happy!

SPOILERS...

The ending was gorgeous, thinking about them together raising Cody just makes me so happy. It makes a great statement, that what makes for a loving family is two people who care about each other and the child.

 :)

It's so refreshing to watch a movie like this after nearly three years of Brokeback. This movie can't even be compared to Brokeback by the way, even if there were some scenes that reminded me of Brokeback, this really has nothing to do with our movie, other than the fact that the two main characters are gay. The chemistry between Brad Rowe and Trevor Wright is absolutely amazing, it's what keeps this story so convincing. Zach and Shaun have known each other since childhood, but have only just started to look at each other in a different light. I love that aspect of the story.

Did you see it on Here! TV or some place else, I am still waiting on a copy to arrive next month, can't wait, I am so happy you got to see it and enjoyed it.

I remember back a couple of years ago someone in India wanted to obtain a copy of Brokeback but I could find no way to make a copy in their format. The online file sharing would be the only way and the legalities involved stand in the way.

Still, I am looking forward to it.
