Well, Harrison Ford needs to give it up. When I see he's going to be in a movie, I know it's going to be crap.  That wasn't always the case.

I agree.  He's been phoning it in for at least the last 10 years.

He was way out of his depth in TROY but so was everyone else.

Sorry to disagree with you, bud, but I thought Eric Bana (Hector) was wonderful in Troy--best thing about the film, reason I want to add it to my collection some day.

But who was that goofy--if muscular--blond playing Achilles?  ;D

O/T

You mean the one who was devasted when his "cousin" Patroclus got killed. Achilles/Brad Pitt was so emotionally devasted you swear they had been lovers.  ;) We can't have that in summer blockbusters, now can we. Yeah, Brad was all preening for the camera in some of those shots.

Movie reivew of TROY in the FINANCIAL TIMES stated it best.  "NO GODS, NO GAYS."

I guess even the Trojan War needed some comic relief.  ;D

Colin Farrell.

no thank you.  I love Alexander the Great, and would not go to that film.  No way those eyebrows belonged with that hair.

And in The New World, no way did those tatoos belong on a seventeeth-century Englishman.  ;D
