It is not the 7th here yet but I don't want to miss the bus.

So have an amazing birthday dear friend,I will be thinking of you and remembering the wonderful surprise phone call.
I am still in a state of shock, I have told the kids and everyone who stops long enough to listen. Your ears should be burning, but in a good way. We were even batting back and forth the idea of Australia,as apparantly, there is a shortage of Optometrists so I can be older than the usual limit of 45.
Matt was all for it, Emma said never and James just swayed with the breeze.!!!
You know my birthday pic is going to be Heath !!!!

Oh yes, yes, yes, find out all you can about coming to Australia. Tell Emma we are very short on champion gymnasts and have a wonderful Institute of Sport here that promotes and looks after such champions.

And let her know, where I live, the weather is exactly like Florida, only the other way around, winter now, summer at Christmas.

And if that doesn't work, tell her I will get her a pet kangaroo to play with in the back yard.

My day is nearly over here, and its been quiet but nice. Went out to tea tonight, and had lots of phone calls from friends and family.

Had a call from Joy this morning, and she will be up here to visit on the 21st, so Im really looking forward to that.

Thank you so much for the lovely birthday wishes. I love all you guys so much, and it really is so nice to get all the happy birthdays.

Well its the next day here now, and I did have a lovely day. A lovely birthday lunch with my family, four generations, and only seven of us. Everybody is in a good place at the moment and the best gift I could have is to see them all happy. Good food, good smiles, and lots of love, what a great birthday.

No way. Be like me. Flew to Melbourne on Thursday. Have just arrived in Adelaide after 10 hours on the train. Ghan to Darwin on Wednesday.

And yes, love that photo of all us girls together in Tampa, thanks for posting Chucky.

Now, I know most of you do a lot of shivering in the winter, and I dont mean to gloat, but mid winter daily temps here where I live are averaging 20 degrees centigrade..(thats about 68 farenheit)..beautiful sunny days...my favourite time of the year, cause in six months time I will be complaining about the humidity.

Had a wonderful day with my family for my birthday. xxx
