Lesdlie, I hasve given up all the things you have, plus cleaning ther hoiuse...

Then there are the times you get a little, tiny inspiration for an originasl story, like about YOU, or ytour grandma, or an old firned, or someone real...and "he's ccries he's mastered it, without half trying; appears the moon, and once again, he's lying..." (IT's a little dirtieer in germna, but for this purpose, the English suits..)

Idiot,s all of em!

I never cleaned, but now I have even given up on straightening up, which I used to do, once in a while

:) i I used to just check email everyday and log off - now I have to check this thread and some of the IMDb boards several times a day and evening too, it's like I am OCD with all of the BBM stuff - I still think about that movie every single day!  In fact I wish there was a way to see it again on the big screen - it never played the discount theatres here in KC - I keep hoping though :D

Victoria, this is impressive:

I only vaccume and dust  once a week now

I only vaccumed and dusted once a month even before Brokeback!

And Chef Judy, what a great term: BBMOCD. I've got it, too. (Note: I have a close friend with regular OCD and tell you what, BBMOCD is a lot like that. Only much more pleasant.)

Guess you don't have a dog, do you?
I used to vaccume only once a week befor I had a dog. But this hairy b*stard makes me vaccum at least every second day. Love him although.

Before Brokeback I used to see other movies. Now I'm totally ruined for movies. The only other movie I've seen from beginning to the end is 10 Things I hate about You. You can guess why.

Before Brokeback I used to watch TV. Now the only TV interest that's left is my ER addiction.

Before Brokeback I used to read books. Now I read on BetterMost. Or fanfiction, which I never liked before. But with fanfiction, you can always hope for a happy end.

Before Brokeback I used to read books.

Now I just sit there holding the book, sometimes focusing my eyes long enough to read the same paragraph over and over, but mostly just gazing off into space ...

I used to get actual work done from time to time. But since I work at the computer in my home office, you know what I spend my work time doing now.

Shit. That's hard  ;) If you don't force your attention to it, it might stoke the day, rewarm that old, cold time on the mountain when the boys owned the world and nothing seemed wrong. :)

That's quite a temptation, sitting on the computer all day for work. And additionally at home, where no boss comes and controls you. You can use Oscar Wilde in excuse: "I can resist anything but temptation."

Perfect. It's the story of my life.
