an 80s dance music diva is back!

Anyone who went to dance clubs in the 80s will remember the music of Judy Torres.

A freestyle diva, her freestyle songs got constant rotation in clubs and on dance radio stations. "No Reason For You To Cry", "Come Into My Arms", "Love Story", "Love You, Will You Love Me", "Please Stay Tonight", "I Love You For All Seasons", "Back In Your Arms Again".

In 2006, she returned to airwaves and dance clubs with a remake of Journey's "Faithfully".

In 2009, Judy is back with a new original song. Titled "Hell No", the song is about women finding the courage to leave abusive relationships.

Tell him when l come up to him and ask to play the record, l'm gonna say: ''Voulez-vous jouer ce disque?''
'Voulez-vous, will you kiss my dick?'
Will you play my record? One-track mind!

Hey there, Chuck!

Thanks for posting this one.  I wasn't familiar with her (her not being the Grateful Dead nor Phish  ::)) but I liked it.  I thought the image of the domestic abuser as an 'enemy soldier' very powerful.  I hope it inspires a lot of young people caught in situations they aren't equipped to navigate.  Kudos.
