I remember a pic that caused a stir a while ago with Batman in it.

Comic Magazine "Wizard" occasionally does a hero vs. hero feature, like Batman Vs. Captian America, or Justice Leauge Vs. X-men.

In this one issue they did "Blip" (space monkey sidekick of Space Ghost) vs. "Gleek" (space monkey sidekick of Super Friends).

The first thing to cause controversy was the battle, the two monkeys fought in a cock fighting ring with the heros betting on the outcome.

Second thing was Batman is pictured cornering one of Space Ghost's teen sidekicks, Jayce.  (Right side of pic)

Third thing was the sidekicks of the Super Friends were drawn making out.  The issue was the sidekicks were  brother and sister, the Wonder Twins.  (Left side of pic)

OMG!

Chuck, This is so  brilliant!

If the art (and everything else!) economy wasn't down the drain, I think this 'Super Friends' piece would have crossed over from 'Pop World' to 'Fine Art World,' with concomitant prices--if it didn't already!!

I'd never heard about this particular image before--or even the series. Love the 'transgressive' Batman figure as pederast letcher with Robin-surrogate (Jayce?) sweating bullets as open joke--what a hoot! Thanks!
