** I've just been contacted by a talent scout. Says he's seen a young actress
who would be perfect for the part of the road with only one curve.
Well, I have to say, he's right!! **

  • I lost myself to him.
**Slightly modified from Meryl's original.

A BROKEBACK BLESSING

From the Light of Heath
From the Grace of Jake
From the Silence of Ang

We thank thee, Lord, for these blessings.

From the Soul of Ennis
From the Spirit of Jack
From the Vision of Annie

We thank thee, Lord, for these blessings.

In the Light of Heath, there is knowledge of Self.
Heed the Self and Transcend.
Be wise among thy senses.
To thee, be a friend.

We thank thee, Lord, for this wisdom.

In the Grace of Jake there is Joy.
The wind blows. Its movement unhalting.
In the face of hardship, embrace humility.
The wind shall pass over, defaulting.

We thank thee, Lord, for this grace.

The Silence of Ang is a sounding bell
To destroy, employ, enjoy.
In this our moment of presentation,
Let our hearts be endowed.

We thank thee, Lord, for this silence.

From the Strength of the Earth
From the Breath of the Wind
From the Spark of the Fire

We thank thee, Lord, for these blessings.

For the Light of Heath
For the Grace of Jake
For the Silence of Ang

We thank thee, thank thee, Lord

YEEHAW

Why do we consume what we consume?
Why do we believe what we believe?
Why do we accept what we accept?

((looks down at his watch, then gets up and gathers his things...))

**Mr. Raymille? I've unfortunately got to go now. Be back tonight ready to pull an allnighter if you need me. Hopefully someone will be leaning up against the trailer then.** ((weak smile))

**  All right.  We're moving forward at least.  I'll finish with the ceremonial Feng Shui required for today's activities.**

**  What?!?  Who said that?  They said that I made up the role of Ceremonial Feng Shui Director just to get some face time?  Who did?  I demand to know.  'Cause it's not true; G*d - they're just jealous.  I was hired for this role, and I don't come cheap, believe me.  I have NOT invited myself here.  Seconds, even minutes, of contract negotiations took place before I agreed to work on this production.  Ask Meryl - she knows.  The High Priestess knows all about, I swear.  **

(( Feng Shui Director lays out all important implements of ceremony in preparation. ))

Bells

Dharma Wheel

Longevity Knots

Prayer Flags

Red Envelopes (for the Feng Shui Director's tips)

Feng Shui Purse (I think Jack & Ennis are each supposed to carry one with their Feng Shui goodies to impove communication)

Tote Bag

**  OK.  As best I can tell, all this stuff is really important in some ceremonial way in creating a harmonious and successful atrmosphere.  I think I put all of it in the attractvie tote bag provided, and walk around seeing if we need a bell or dharma wheel somewhere as production occurs.  **

%%  This might require another new outfit.  I'm going to need something to go with the tote bag, I can tell. Where is Mr. Raymille with the checkbook anyway?!?  %%
