What's for breakfast/lunch/supper?

breakfast today was just some yogurt and cranberry juice to drink.

My dinner tonight will be Rocky Ford cantaloupe, turkey bacon, cucumber in a spicy vinaigrette, and shisho leaves.

For dinner this evening I had what seems to be my traditional single-guy New Year's Eve Dinner. I made my mother's recipe baked macaroni and cheese casserole. I grilled a small steak, and I had a salad. Also a biscuit and butter. Dessert was ice cream.

I didn't have dinner last night, because I knew there would be a ton of "picky foods" at the party.

Today I skipped breakfast, as I wasn't hungry.

Probably mid-afternoon today, I will have my pork and sauerkraut with mashed potatoes.

Turned out pretty good. I grilled two nice boneless pork chops. I ate one, and the other is in the fridge to be eaten at a later date.

Great to hear! I guess you don't make black-eyed peas. I used to do that, but they've been hard to find lately.

I felt the need to have a substantial breakfast today to kick off November and "deliver-us-from-evil" week.

So here are grits from George Washington's mill, topped by a poached egg, asiago curls, and snipped chard from my garden.
