Ok, I'm sure that most (if not all) of you have seenn some version of "The Real World" on MTV network.

7 strangers, picked to live in a house, work together, have their lives taped, and see what happens when people stop being polite, adn start getting real.

The Real World.

Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to pick 8 (one extra person) BetterMost members that you think would be fun to watch attempt to live and work together. The only rule, you can not list yourself in the 8 people.

Now......who would you pick?

What a fun idea, Chuck, as long as we don't have to vote people out of the house! (I dislike reality TV for the alliance mentality aspect.)

The only person on my team I am not familiar with is Henry. When I get to a real PC I will do some research and rectify that.

I predict a house filled with country music and quality film nights.

Well I would want to hang with Paul, Rich, Chuck, (sorry I put you third, but your ahead of 5 others) Meryl, Lynne, Eric, Dev and EnjaRoux. And these are all people I have met, there are lots of people I have not met I would like to include but we can only pick 8 so are we on Gilligans Island.

You're not supposed to include yourself, Tru, though you are fine company!! It's a fine list too.

Since I have got a Brit and Australian, and some Southerners, I'm thinking we can have Iron Chef nights and take turns cooking novel dishes. The rest of the time, we can live on frozen pizza and fried okra!

And btw, Truman, will Bob be over a lot? .ight have to lay down the law on overnight guests if there's too much jouncing ;-)

It's very hard to choose 8 but off the top of my head....

injest - cos I'd be intreigued to learn more about our allusive texas gal.
ZK - cos I want to know more about NZ & hear his accent.
John Passantini - cos I want to hear and see his humour in real life.
Wishes - becasue I really liked Wishes and I miss her not posting here. And she was as obsessed with Phil Keoghan & TAR as me.
CellarDwellar - cos hes been to some many brokie gatherings that he would have lots of gossip about people.
Artiste - because I think he's keeping his real identity secret and also I want him to learn how to socialise in a better more appealing way.
Br. Patrick - cos I think he would be a claming Zen like figure over everyone
sfericsf - cos he picks great tunes and will be a great DJ in the house and he can tell everyone all about his train trips cross country.

Gee wiz Chucky, I have never seen The Real World, but we have a show that is similar, called Big Brother, where they get people and put them living together for a couple of months, but then thruought that time they all vote to evict someone each week. Im not a regular viewer, its usually young people, but this year they had a woman in there in her fifties and she won.

Anyway, I would have to have laughter if I were locked up with 8 other people, and I had a great time on Devs blog the other day laughing and playing around so that group would have to be in my 8 people.

Here goes......

Dev.........because she laughs at us all the time
Rob.........because he has a kinda weird sense of humour
Chucky.... because he tickles us and makes us laugh

Tru.........because he will settle us down with a lovely story

Apparently, Rob has never watched "The Real World".

On this show, they would put 7 strangers into a house together, and record them as they went through their daily lives together. They got along for the most part, but each season, there's drama as well.

I played a version of this game last weekend...went to the mountains with 8 friends and a dog!!

We managed to abandon one friend and a dog at check-in and rendezvoused nearly an hour later!
Another friend couldn't breath and/or slept almost the entire time and missed the activities and all of the meals!
Another friend couldn't partake of the hot springs because of a cast on her arm.
Another friend couldn't join us at the hot springs because of a risk of an infection.
Two friends had to leave in the middle of the night due to an emergency root canal need.
A seventh friend got lost and went 200 miles out of his way.
I managed to avoid any injury but stinging feet due to running after the dog barefoot in sand and snow.

Other than that, we all had a perfect time!!
