Shaping up to be one hell of a 4th of july, and I'm sure you will do it justice! (chapter 20)

Leslie, you gorgeous thing,

Your dialogue is incredible; it flows like....like buttah.

You are truly brilliant, my friend.

You captivate us.  We hang on your every word.

But, again, I want to savor this story.  Dont' let it end too soon.

Thanks, Julie...

I am trying but all I can do is write the words that are spoken to me. I hope I do them justice!

Ha ha ha,...maybe you can think about catching up and doing some art for this story...we need a cover and we have all sorts of other characters. Lucise, art abounds....

I am currently catching up on E&E, then I'll catch up my chapters here, and then I am also like 4 chapters or so behind in Lori's TCJ .. That and I am reading a Latter Days fanfic story and ........... I could go on ..  ;D  I can do it though!

I wish I had "Aging" software, we could age J&E gracefully and do some cool fanart for them ..  ;)

I hope this doesn't blow up on them--I believe Jack is right, they have to do this, and will never prove that they are normal if KE doesn't see it first hand, so he can really realize they are just like everyone else.   I am not sure what he actually thinks queers are--but it is going to be awkward no matter what.   But they can handle anything for a few days, and it is the right thing to do---even if it may turn out alittle difficult till everyone figures out what normal is.
Must admit though, my stomach is churning alittle wondering what is going to happen with them.

SPOILER

Ahhhh… I love that picture. Sweet!

So, twisted old KE might be starting to give up on some of his hate. I loved the way Jack suggested this to Ennis. They have the good life, they’re successful and have loving children and grandchildren around them. KE is old and embittered and alone. Guess it didn’t help his bitterness to see that Ennis has all the things that KE doesn’t.

I don’t think for one moment that KE is going to have some sort of epiphany and suddenly be all acceptance and sweetness and light, but I do think that the party might help him to come round a little. He may make his peace with Ennis before he dies.

I’m sure that there is more rough territory ahead though, especially if KE heard the boys nocturnal activities.  ;D

Knowing the circumstances is one thing, hearing the lads in the throes of passion is quite another.

We don’t mind of course…  ;) ;D
