Meryl, that blueberry cake sounds absolutely delicious. I bought a KitchenAid mixer in March (to replace the 56 year old one I had inherited from my grandmother/mother) and I might just make that, since I can perfectly cream butter and sugar now.
Lighthouses, cake, flowers, Heath and Hugh...it's all good. Chrissi, I am laughing at me and the picture of the bologna salad. That was a fun day and a good memory.
June was a very difficult month for me...lots of family stuff that was very hard. Plus, it has been raining non-stop in New England and we are all turning into mushrooms. July starts with my birthday and it is always my favorite month, so I am looking forward to things looking up!
