Time flies!! I brought these cats home on 4th of July 2006. Brokie was about 1 year and 3 months old. Sayif was approximately 3 months old. He is is now 2 and Brokie is 3.

Almost two years?  :o Time flies indeed.

The newest pics of your cats remind me of the Cowboy's Etiquette thread. One point was: Lean. On. Everything.
For Brokie and Sayif it would be: Lie. On. Everything.

Adorable!  :-*

David, yes, Sayif did do a great Sphynx impression that day. He was actually falling asleep, without realising it...

Ah Chrissi, funny! They do lie a lot...  ;D

Kelda, I don't mind moving this thread (as long as it's not deleted..  :P), but who's in charge of that?

Here a couple of pictures from today:

[Brokie and Sayif snoooozing on the terrace..]

[Camouflage! For no apparent reason Brokie is hiding her head under a see-through piece of plastic...]

And the clip that goes with the above picture.

Sayif just brought back a mouse! A tiny one. Still alive, unhurt as far as I could tell. I should have taken a picture, but I freak out when that happens. I hate it when my cats do that. I know it's natural but still.. Good thing is it's only been the second time. I once found a dead mouse in my garden and who knows how many they have eaten, but live mice - uh uhn! I freak out especially when the mouse is hurt. I don't know what to do then. I once (years ago) tried to kill a dying mouse.. I couldn't.. In the end I flushed it down the toilet...

Tonight's mouse was lucky. I took it in a glas and brought it back outside. It was wet and shivering, but not hurt. I wanted to dry it a little bit, but it was trembling too much. I was afraid I'd scare it even more.

Also, my neighbours (a few gardens away from mine) have this big angry, black male cat that has been harrassing me and my cats for months now. I gave it shelter and food though, when it was frozen and/or wet in the winter months, because the owners just couldn't seem to take care of it. Now, it's been 5+ days that the cat has disappeared. The neighbours came to ask me if I knew about the cat's whereabouts. I hate this cat, but now I can't stop thinking about what horrible things could have happened to it. It must be quite stressful not to know where your pet is, when it's gone for so long.

 :(

You know what?! That stupid Sayif brought the mouse back! I'm pretty sure it is the same one even though I took the mouse outside to the front of my flat into the bushes. ..

I thought it was dying so I put it under a lamp to at least feel warmth. I left it there for 30/40 minutes or so when I suddenly heard a noise. The mouse was full awake/alive again and jumped out of my hand to the floor...... NO IDEA where it is now. Somewhere in my flat.. Stupid mouse! What do these creatures eat? I actually think it's in my storage room. I closed the door, but I think I'll never find it there. .. My cats will though eventually... argh.. stupid stupid mouse!

Yes sure, move it if you want, leave it if you want. Thematically it fit's better in BetterMost People, but it's been here for so long (and I feel somewhat nostalgic about it).

[Similar picture of Brokie from a while back]

Thank you Kelda and Chrissi. I guess we are fine here, where we are!  :D

You all may want to know that the stupid big black cat from my neighbours, got back home. He had hidden in the garage of the building next door and for some reason didn't find his way back outside. He was fed by some of the tenants there.
