Does this one have a bulls-eye on its side, or are my eyes playing tricks on me? This looks kind of like my cat, who has matching bulls-eyes on both of his sides (except my cat is ENORMOUS - not an ounce of fat, but very tall and long).

He/She does have a bullseye!

I would name this cat Robin.

Robin can be a boy's or girl's name too.  :)

Jude -

We need more pics soon please.  We need a kitten fix.

How did I not see this delicious joy til now?  Jude, sooo beautiful.  You are a woman very rich in cats.

Like, I don't know.. "Proulx" or something..  :-\

This is a very cat-like sound, especially in French, sort of a purr/vocalization.  I like it.

Thank you everyone!

Well I did think of "Proulx".. but 'proute', which sounds similar is not the best of words to name a kitten after. Though I really like "Proulx"..

I think I'm going to stick with an Arab word/name. Especially now with everything happening in the Middle East (my Arab teacher is Lebanese. He is hoping that his parents will be evacuated together with the British, today..)..

Choice is now between:

cloud - sahaba or akkara
(full) moon - (mali) qamar
forgotten - nassiya
silent - suka(t)
summer - sayif
tear - dam'a
cherry - kharaz
to dream - halama
my heart - kalbi

From the sound of the Arabic words (as I think they sound, may be totally wrong  :)) I like sayif, kharaz and suka the best.
From the meaning I still like cherry the best. Silent is good, too, if it matches the kitten's character. But I guess at *that* age your kittens are right now, they're all lively lil' gals cats and not too silent  ;D

Thank you Chrissi. I do like the ones you've mentioned too. And the 'cherry' option! They are very lively indeed, but they sleep much much more than they are awake! That's good. I was going to keep the lighter brown one, but that kitten is almost never coming to me, nor does it like to be touched. The smaller of the two dark ones is really cute and wants much more of my attention. It also falls asleep next to me or cuddles up on my legs. So I think I'll keep that one and the mother.

Not an easy choice, though!

More pictures, in the meantime..

- eating and drinking

- some symmetry

- more symmetry

- and some more..

Hi Jude -

Either you're a great photographer, or these are the most photogenic kitties ever.  I'm willing to believe it's both, but these pics you take are excellent.  The composition is just wonderful.  Yummy.  Very yummy.  Keep 'em coming.

Celeste, I agree. All the pictures are excellent, but I think these three are incredible...

It is very difficult to get animals to cooperate. I think Jude is a great photographer AND she has a terrific way with animals. These pictures are awesome.   :D
