Nurofen gel. It's sold at Boots and any other chemist, and is not sold in the US - it is ibuprofen in gel form. I would gladly paypal you the cost of the item and any shipping if you could pick up some for me, and it is legal to send, since it is non-prescription! Now that I've got major joint injuries all over, it would come in so very handy!!!

all of you have made my day more tolerable. It was a terrible pain day for me capped by my landlady freaking out on me and I don't want to pour on the tears and the "how could you say this on my BIRTHDAY WHINE WHINE WHINE" but...

It was wonderful! I got axed from my contract for not being able to work due to the accident, one of my ribs worked loose, I got stuck in a terrible traffic jam on the way back from the doctor and my landlady returned home and told me how terrible I was for not paying her an extra month's rent for January so she doesn't have to have a tenant during the winter when she's home.

On the positive side, I did get the formal offer letter, the medication is working and I got my food shopping done. Tomorrow I think I'll make myself a birthday cornbread!
