and the police action goes on!  Chapter 84!

http://louisev.livejournal.com/309739.html

SPOILERS

Yes, all kinds of action going on!  Well, they definitely need to find a place for Mama and Manuel apart from Ozzie and Eddie and Eddie's mom (and do I remember correctly that there was some question as to exactly who she was married to - Danny or Ozzie?).

Great to hear Nicky's voice - he does know how to rile his man, doesn't he?   ;D  Thanks, Louise!

we won't be quite sure what the story with Eddie's mother is until she appears on the scene... which should be pretty soon!

Uh oh, I think I got too many plots going at once, don't I?

I am moving house to Aurora tonight - and out of the Super 8 Motel (thank all the powers that be!) but the internet is not yet installed at my new home, so I won't be able to be online tonight to upload a chapter.  I will, however, give writing it the old college try, and I'll upload it to LJ tomorrow.

Hope you can all hang on ! heheheh

Was it ever great to be back at the Red Stallion, seeing the gang just being themselves!  And it was especially great to see Nicky and his swagger  ;D

Wayne clucked with his tongue. “Come on, Lauren. I just have a word question. What the hell is a coxcomb?”

“Ain’t that the red fleshy thing on a rooster’s head?”

Can't wait till Sweet Thing arrives!  Thanks, Louise!

I had fun writing it!  Although I admit that Lauren's reply to Wayne's question was an afterthought...I could think of all sorts of retorts Wayne could have made to it as well and then decided, particularly since my internet access was very flaky, to just leave 'as is.'
