All the travelin' I'll be doin' on Tuesday, 7/25/06

Hello fellow BetterMostians!  With the encouragement of several online Brokie pals, I am posting to let you know that I will be moving from Washington, D.C., where I have lived for 18 - 1/2 years, home to the Buffalo, NY area on 7/25.  The motivations have been percolating for years, and now the big day is here!  I will hit the road in a few hours with a van full of drooling St. Bernards, drugged cats, and a fantastic sense of peace and resolve about this change in my life.

The good news for all of you in this equation is that you are likely to have a bit of a respite from the innane, self-aggrandizing adventures and pun-gent, so-called humor of Terry Cloth on the Performance Thread.  I am He is unlikely to have much computer access for a few days..  (please keep your cheers down to a dull roar!   ;) ).  Terry is packed safely in my Sacred Relic Suitcase and rather unable to express himself right now.  So, enjoy the peace and quiet!  ;)

Thanks to all my BetterMost buds for the moral support ... keep the campfire burning... and I'll be back to our real sweet life here as soon as I can get online.

Now that I have played Aguirre and Chilean Sheepherder #1, I have even greater respect for the dedication and talent of our Broken-Arsed troupe. U deserve a little break from the daily grind of the set, Terry, but not this way!! Hope yr settled in soon and visiting us again when U need a break from the unpacking. (So glad yr moving away from DC that must be such an oppressive atmosphere!!)

Hello Friends!

You will be dismayed to learn that Terry Cloth has successfully emerged from the Sacred Relics Suitcase, been laundered and fluffed, and, once one final DSL problem gets worked out, will be catching up on the collective brilliance known as the Performance Thread and chiming in again in his uniquely annoying way with those dastardly run-on sentences bereft of significant punctuation in the manner of one Ms. Proulx.

Alec will be attempting to contribute in meaningful ways to other threads.

The move went well and it is GREAT to be home after 18 stressful years in Washington, D.C.  Thanks for your moral support and posts and PMs...

The truth is, I've missed you so bad I could hardly stand it.   :'(

It looks like our Beloved Warsh Rag has returned on the PT scene full throttle.. :D
Before his big move back home, I promised our Terry here a big welcome party when he gets all moved in, settled and gits back here..
So I am throwing the party .. ;D



Git yer fancy clothes and shoes on, smarten up (although this aint no church social ..)
Let's Party!!    :D :D


The guests start to arrive as Warsh-rag hangs on his brand new 200 karat platinum towel ring ..




Some other distant rag-relatives, dressed in their Best Party Rings, are comfortably seated ..




Another couple arrives in time to be snacked on seated ...




No expenses spared, there is food galore ...











And our musician is strumming our joys with his fingers ..



 :D


When Warsh Rag's beloved JBB returns from his adventures in China, we'll throw another party for the happy couple's reunion!!  ;D
