I took a chance that you would say yes.  It DOES look wonderful.  You have a knack, Friend.

Sure enough, she does!  :-*  :-*  :-* Meryl!

Agreed with Jeff and Clarissa. Love the pic combined with the aphorism. It does have a reason why you are the High Priestess.

Thank you Meryl for the 40 years posting and for reposting Bruces imdb post.
And thank you Bruce for posting this on imdb. Love the cowboy and the last line of the pic...........

At first I misread this, and thought you were thanking Meryl for the last forty years we've all been at this BBM business.  "Forty years," I thought, "Has it been that long?  Time sure flies when you're having fun."

What's up here today? I just had two good laughs at the . thread (first Marl, then your answer to my post - the ciggies smileys). Next thing I read is this and again, it has me literally LOL.

Forty years in BBM busines -->

I admit it can easily be misread. But I won't change it. Too much fun  ;D.

Ok. For me, today was

- post reunion day
- Elle's B-day
- the day of many heartily laughs on the board
- and the day I revieved a reunion postcard.

Telly you what: I had a great one today and my fellow Brokies are the reason for it. Yee-haw to that!  :)

A lovely tribute to Annie Proulx and the lonesome cowboy who caught her imagination one night by Oregondoggie:

Blessed is the written word.
With it I pray peace for the life
and the soul of an unknown man
in a bar in Wyoming one night,
watching the young men play pool.

You have no idea
What you have done.
But thank you.

FOLKS!  I truly wish those words were mine... but they AREN'T!  I was quoting a small
note by Truman Adkins (Shakestheground) that was in the tin box up in the cache on Brokenback Mountain.

PLEASE give Truman the proper credit.
