Ennis thinking:

Whut's with Jack and those damn sideburns? Trying ta look like Elvis er whut? Sure packing on the pounds like Elvis. Can't sing like him, hopin' he doesn't try. Jack's sure 'lot prettier then Elvis, cant tell him so, us not being queer and all.

Jack, thinking: I'm gonna make this sonofabitch laugh if I have to break every bone in my body and spill every drop of this whiskey...

Jack, thinking: Done--by God...God, he's pretty when he laughs..wish I could take a picture or kiss him or somethin'-- probably won't happen very often...

jack thinking some more: Kiss him? Fat chance a that..lucky if I get to lay a finger on him...patience, Jack...patience...

Thanks to all who are posting these great photos and captions......

I sneak in here nearly every day, read some of them over and over, and always get a giggle.....

Ennis, thinking: Ya think yer tough, John Twist? Too bad my pa's dead and gone these 21 years, or you'd find out what tough was really like...and when I say, "too bad,"  I'm just bein' polite, Old Man...

Just another thing i meant to mention before......

I have a little game I play with myself, and I'm sure, most of us on here could play it seeing as we know all the scenes off by heart......

I read the caption first, and before I scroll down to look at the picture, i vision the scene that I think the caption will belong to, and then scroll down to see if I'm right......

(have I got too much time on my hands, or what?????)

yes--what percent do you get right? You know we have ALL the scxans we have saved at our disposal, plus everthing on "www.stripedwall.com" which is almost every frame of the movie--and those of us with photoshiop can even rescue pictures that appear black there...
