The SF proclamation

I hadn't heard about the San Francisco proclamation that Pete T set in motion till he showed it to me, and I think it's a gem. I thought you might like to print out copies of your own, so I've cleaned it up and attached it as a word.doc as well as an image. This is as flat as I can get it without scanning.

Thank you guys so much for posting this!!  It is quite impressive and indeed, represents tangible evidence of the impact Brokeback Mountain is having both at a personal level and on society as a whole.  I need to figure a way to get this printed nicely and framed.

The only other time in history I can imagine this would have happened would have been in Atlanta during the run of Gone With The Wind.

I actually saw the proclamation in SF and heard it read by a city official!  It was a special day, to say the least!

Sorry, but I'm afraid it's actually not uncommon. at least in LA, where Mayor Tom Bradley proclaimed April 10 (1977, I think) "Can't Stop The Music Day".
