My daughter recently joined a "Messianic Jewish" church, so this has relevance to me! I thought cooking kosher would be fairly easy: just don't make veal in cream sauce. But no, it turns out there's a whole slew of other things I should not serve now!!

What's a messianic Jewish church?  Do they have churches?  I thought Jewish people had synogogues.  Is it the same thing?

I don't know that much about it, but they are basically Jewish but believe in Christ, however, they call him something different. I think their churches are called temples and their ministers are called elders. They worship on Saturdays and celebrate Jewish holidays, but also some Christian ones.
