Facebook sent me a coupon to run a free ad. So I created one for Brokeback Mountain Radio and the BBM Radio fanpage. I designed it so that if it is clicked on it will take them to the radio station on Live 365. I also put in the ad to also "Like" our Facebook page. The ad is specifically targeted at folks who have Brokeback Mountin in their interests (likes).

The ad has been running since 1:00am Thursday morning Pacific Time. So far it has been displayed 389,210 times (impressions). The ad has been clicked on 159 times. I checked on Live 365 the "station page visits" stats for Thursday and it seems to support this. (So Facebook is not lying.)

There was a small spike in listenership on Thursday according to the station ratings, but nothing astronomical. The Facebook Fan Page has only added 4 new fans. We'll see..... It's a form a creative advertising, and it's my hope that peope have bookmarked the site to come check it out later, if they didn't have time to check it when they saw or clicked on the ad.

The ad is scheduled to run through Saturday night at 11:00pm.
