OK, David...I just saw this and I came as quickly as possible  :)

Please take a deep breath, three steps back and lay the gun down.....that's right, nice and slow...that kitten didn't mean no harm!!

OH!! WAIT!! YOU are the kitty and the mice are holding YOU hostage!

 ;D

I'm sorry...no good ideas, tho, besides the aforementioned traps everyone else has suggested.
You'll have to tell us how the Raddisson was??!?

When I logged on to the Internet a few minutes ago, I had 675 new emails in my mailbox.

Did this happen to anyone else tonight?

I hope nobody from here sent me any email within the past few hours. I massed deleted everything. If anyone did, please send it again because I didn't see it.

America Online must have really screwed up. Something went wrong.

What the hell is going on with the Internet tonight? You received 12078 of them?

Sheesh. Somebody is churning out a bunch of spam apparently. I had email offering me everything from free viagra samples and edible underwear to Paris Hilton sex videos.  :P

Oh, I didn't read all of mine. All of those were on the first page.

I'm sure I had some free laptops and git cards buried somewhere in all that mess.

I never made it to the Raddison, Lynne. I think the mice were blocking my front door.  ;)

I DID get some live traps today though, and they work (Thanks Sue, Melissa, Andrew and Geri for suggesting them). I have caught three mice so far and I drove them to a marshy area about 5 minutes from where I live. I figured they would be happy there. There is a lot of plants and water for them to eat and drink.  :)

Let's just hope this nightmare ends soon. I know it's almost Halloween, but this is ridiculous.

We'll, I'm actually glad  you didn't let them drive you out, David :).  But still, good grief!  This is just #27 on the list of why I never want to own a house again :)
