Thank you Kelda and Chrissi! I sure do appreciate that!!!  :-*  :-*

There's a really FUNNY commercial playing here right now! I've seen it over and over again during the past few days and it CRACKS me up every time!

Edit to add: I'm not seeing the youtube clip! If you can't see it in this post, here's the link! It's only 16 seconds long and quite funny!

Hey David, good to see you! :D

I think the Santa Claws vid is a Simon's Cat classic. As someone who lost more ornaments to cats (and dog, and kids) than I care to remember, I can totally relate.

The first one made me think of a friend of mine who sitted my first cat once. Every night between 3am and 4am was "play-hour". My cat rioted so long till my friend got up in the middle of the night to play with her - every night for a full week!
The cat never tried it with me (or maybe she tried and gave up when I didn't react).

Yep,

Skimble used to the sit at the bottom of our (fake) tree and paw at the baubles... you'd find aboout 5 each morning and half to rehang them. He hasn't been too bad with this the last couple of years.

And when he was little he could actually lie in the tree itself.

The first year I had both cats they were only about 16 weeks at Xmas time and I took them to my sisters for Christmas..

We found both cats in the big real tree she had - pretty much fast asleep - trying to get them out of the real tree proved to be difficult!! And i had scratched hands by the end with all the pine needles!

2 years ago I found the tree toppled over against the dining room table... Skimble had obviously tried to jump into it... luckily I was able to sit it back up and just put the baubles back on without too much fuss!

And this year.. the tree sits next to the couch and he jumped onto the coach and was looking at the tree as if to jump in and went to paw at something and I shouted 'Skimble!' at him and he just stopped so hoping he has been warned off!!

Hey there, David - Long time, no visit.  I'm sorry.  I'm not here as much as I wish I were lately.

I was thinking about you tonight/this morning - BayCityJohn posted about it on FB -

"Out West: LGBT Hidden Histories (1:30 p.m.)
Curators Gregory Hinton and Jim Wilke will present a talk and gallery tour using Western and Native American art and artifacts and contemporary art to tell little-known stories of LGBT historical figures of in Western America. The exhibit will highlight work by artists Marsden Hartley and Alfred Jacob Miller"

I thought it sounded like something you might be interested in.  Gregory Hinton is one of the key producers of Beyond Brokeback.  I will have to double-check, but that may be coming to Indy in this same time frame too.
