It's my warped humour:

The line from BBM:  "You didn't go up there to fish!...That line never touched water in its life."

This trip idea started as a winter hiking deal for the few southeast Brokies because "It's too long 'til Albera" [Truman]...then morphed into skiing.  Well, snow is required for skiing and it's been too warm for them to make snow (only 3/28 trails are open).

So the play on words..."We're not going up there to fish ski...That line Those skis never touched water snow in its their life."

Well, I don't know about Denver or Alberta, but the Hopkinsville, KY powwow is probably a green light. I go to this powwow every year. I even have my own teepee! Kentucky is VERY close to me, so Hopkinsville is not a problem for me.

I don't remember seeing them at the Hopiknsville powwow. Hopefully I will see them next year.

I have been listening to my Spanish CD's so I have a better grasp of what Calixto says to me.  His English is good, but Quechua and Spanish are his native languages...I only fully grasp about 1/2 without asking him to repeat himself, which probably makes him feel badly.
