I hope you all have a fun time on your trip!  I wish I could go. It's not going to work out for me this time around.   :'(

You're a sweetie....and on my must-meet list.  Do you have any designs on Denver or Alberta?  If not then, a powwow!

Sometimes it all still feels like a mass of dots
but
more and more these days
I feel like we're all connected
and it's beautiful
and funny
and good.

What is this fish skiing all about?

I've seen this before. What does it mean?

Are you all fishing.... skiing.....both.... neither?

Yeah, I'm a true blue dingbat Lynne!   :D

It's my warped humour:

The line from BBM:  "You didn't go up there to fish!...That line never touched water in its life."

This trip idea started as a winter hiking deal for the few southeast Brokies because "It's too long 'til Albera" [Truman]...then morphed into skiing.  Well, snow is required for skiing and it's been too warm for them to make snow (only 3/28 trails are open).

So the play on words..."We're not going up there to fish ski...That line Those skis never touched water snow in its their life."

Hey there Wulfie!!!  :)

Oh, you don't have a warped sense of humor Lynne! At least I don't think so!

Thanks for explaining it to me though (because I REALLY AM a dingbat!!)   :D

Well, I don't know about Denver or Alberta, but the Hopkinsville, KY powwow is probably a green light. I go to this powwow every year. I even have my own teepee! Kentucky is VERY close to me, so Hopkinsville is not a problem for me.  :D

I know!   I signed up for a spot, remember? - it's enormous!  AND my very cool new friends Calixto and Jaime will be there.  Did you like their CD?  They say they go every year, so you've prob'ly heard them before.

Yes, Calxto and Jaime (Pan flute music, correct?)

I don't remember seeing them at the Hopiknsville powwow. Hopefully I will see them next year.

Don't they play Pan flute music??

We are going to bed now Lynne! You take care, okay??

Definitely pan flute and some other native Andean instruments.  You take care and sweet, sweet dreams!

No, Lakota, sorry.  Please translate.

I have been listening to my Spanish CD's so I have a better grasp of what Calixto says to me.  His English is good, but Quechua and Spanish are his native languages...I only fully grasp about 1/2 without asking him to repeat himself, which probably makes him feel badly.
