The Brokeback Mountain Slash Fiction Drinking Game
« on: October 06, 2006, 06:19:34 am »
I hope that Ryan (RyanSchultz) won't object to me posting this here - but I thought was funny.

It can be found on his LiveJournal http://community.livejournal.com/brokebackslash/656246.html

THE RULES:

Ennis says "rodeo":
to Jack - 2 sips of beer
at any other time - 1 sip

Jack says "cowboy":
to Ennis - 2 sips of beer
at any other time - 1 sip

Ennis says " darlin' ":
to Jack - 1 sip
to one of his daughters - 2 sips
to a horse - 3 sips
to Alma or any woman other than his daughters - finish the beer

Ennis says "Jack fuckin' Twist" - 2 sips
Jack says "bitch" - 2 sips
Anyone says "Jack Nasty" - 3 sips

Jack says "I love you" or "I miss you" - 1 sip of beer
Ennis says "I love you" (the three actual words) - 3 sips of beer

Ennis punches Jack - 1 sip of beer
Ennis shoots a gun - 1 sip
Ennis is fixing a fence - 1 sip
Ennis is fixing a roof - 2 sip
Ennis is fixing a meal - 3 sips
Ennis laughs or smiles (even a partial smile) - 2 sips
Ennis tucks in his shirt - 3 sips
Ennis is mucking out a stable - hold nose and take a sip
Ennis is thrown from a horse - whinny like a horse and take a sip
Ennis is dancing (with or without Jack) - finish the beer

Jack starts bitchin' or complainin' - 1 sip of beer
Jack smiles or laughs - 1 sip
Jack sings or plays the harmonica - 2 sips
Jack punches Ennis - 3 sips
jack shoots a gun - 3 sips
Jack gets out of bed in the morning before Ennis does - 4 sips

Jack and Ennis kiss on the lips:
alone and indoors - 1 sip of beer
alone and outdoors - 2 sips
and one or more person(s) see them kiss - 3 sips

SEX:  In ALL cases, "sex" is defined as an orgasm actively described in writing (in other words, no implied, between-the-lines sex).
If it ain't on the page, it don' count.  Got that?

Jack and Ennis have sex together:
in a tent or a trailer - 1 sip of beer
in a stable or barn - 1 sip
in a bed in a house - 1 sip
in a shower or bathtub in a house - 1 sip
anywhere else in the house - 2 sips
outdoors (NOT in a tent), nighttime - 2 sips
outdoors (NOT in a tent), daytime - 3 sips
over the telephone, and Jack suggests/starts it - 3 sips
over the telephone, and Ennis suggests/starts it - finish the bottle
via postcard - finish all the beer in the house and go buy all the beer in the beer store and finish that, too

Ennis beats off thinking about Jack (or vice versa):
in bed  - 1 sip of beer
in the shower or bathtub - 2 sips
anywhere else - 3 sips

Jack and another man have sex:
and it's Randall Malone - 1 sip of beer
and it's in Mexico - 2 sips of beer (remember, implied sex doesn't count)
otherwise - 3 sips of beer

Ennis and another man have sex:
and it's Ellery Cantrell - half a sip (oh c'mon, otherwise you'd all be drunk in no time)
and it's NOT Ellery Cantrell, but Jack is dead - 1 sip
otherwise - finish the beer

Ennis and Alma have sex - 1 sip of beer
Ennis and any other woman have sex - 3 sips
Jack and Lureen have sex - 2 sips
Jack and Alma have sex - finish all the beer in the house and go to every beer store in town and buy all the beer and finish that, too (go to the next town if necessary)

Any mention of beans, soup, or coffee - 1 sip
Any mention of prayer(s) or angel(s) - 1 sip
Any mention of Jack's blue eyes using the word "blue" - 1 sip
Any mention of Jack's blue eyes NOT using the word "blue" - 2 sips
Any mention of Lureen's hair - 1 sip
The writer lifts an entire sentence from Annie Proulx (e.g. "Tent don't look right.") - 3 sips
The word " darling " is actually written WITH A G ON THE PAGE - finish all the beer in the house and go back to the beer store for more

This is very funny. Thanks for a good laugh.

With the length of some of the stories (mine included) we'd all be smashed by the end of the book...maybe even halfway through!

Halfway? That far? I guess we'd be in a coma after four or five chapters

I think the beer stock in next town is safe. Show me a story where *this*happens and I'll drink the first beer in years (and be in a coma after that, lol)

ROFLMAO! God, I'd be drunk off my ass every night if I played this game (sounds like fun  :D )
‘cause the truth is, I already give him everythin’ I got to give, more than I ever even knew I had; ‘n it all for him, all of it, him who is my brother, my father, my child, my friend, my lover, my heart, my soul; my Ennis.

haha

this is fun and pretty much head on!

I don´t think there´s a single fan fic out there that doesn´t have several of these elements in it.

I´ll try to play it tonight. I just have to decide what fic to read....
