Cucumber Banana Tofu

Hello.

Just thought I'd post here about 3 new 1 season shows from the Guy who wrote Queer as Folk, and also Dr Who and Torchwood, Russell T Davies.

So far, I've only watched Cucumber so far 6 our of the 8 episodes, and have Banana saved on my sky plus box (equivalent of Tivo) to watch.

So far I've really enjoyed it. Set in Manchester and centres around a 47 year old insurance broker Henry. Banana apparently intertwines round it but centres on different characters.

Not sure if /when it'll get to non UK screens but worth a look if you can

I've heard about this, but haven't seen it yet.  I believe it's playing on LOGO here in the states.

Now watched all the Banana episodes too - these are stand - alone 30 minute stories about one particular person (compared to Cucumbers hour long episodes) , where you see the characters from other Banana and Cucumber episodes in the background & there are little glimpses of the same scenes from different angles etc. V clever - really enjoyed them!

Definitely worth a watch.

Tofu is a web series. Not got round to looking at that yet.. maybe once I'm on maternity leave!
