You'd think starting off with 2 greens, this would be easy. 3 greens on my 2nd try, 4 greens on my 3rd try. That tells me many 5-letter words are slight variations of each other.

Not a great day. For the first time, I went to Forbes' Connections hints. For each color, they give you a veiled hint at the category. I was kind of on the right track with a couple, but I found today's particularly challenging.

Also, was it actually a red herring to use three words that were Martin Scorsese movies? I was thinking that had to be a purple-level category, but I couldn't find a fourth movie, even after going to IMDb.

This one was my bad. I couldn't think of a different word at first for S_EA_, so reused an already rejected letter. As Lee notes, there are plenty of words I could have chosen instead. I can't face the bot.
