The blue category (words for which there is no rhyme) was flawed yesterday IMO. I worked at a citrus coop, so I was familiar with the claim that there is no rhyme for orange, but there are actually several perfectly good rhymes (syringe, hinge, impinge, sporange). And there are also good rhymes for silver and purple (circle, hurdle). Month seems to be the only word for which there are no good rhymes, surprisingly.
This is not to say I have a good excuse for not solving Connections yesterday. The purple category (cards in Texas hold'em) was also not something that I could have guessed.
