All of us Strangers

Oh my.  I don't really know where to start.  Has anyone else seen "All of Us Strangers"?

It was sort of billed as a sexy film with Andrew Scott and the flavor-of-the-month actor Paul Mescal.

Nothing of the sort.  I can't really describe it.  It's sort of a dream film.  It's based on a Japanese story.  I don't want to give anything away, but there are surprises of a kind.

Not the least of which is seeing Jamie Bell all grown up (he played the original Billy Eliot in the film of the same name).  His ears still stick out.   8)

Andrew Scott is again a wonder.  I first encountered him when he played Moriarty in the Benedict Whatshisbatch version of "Sherlock".  He has grown by leaps and bounds in popularity, both in television, film and on stage.

This film is slow, sort of a tone poem of grief.  I'll not forget it soon.

Thanks for reminding me about that film. I saw the trailer for it and marked it as a "must-see" in my mind.
