Just one thing: we have changed to winter time, meaning that the time difference atm is 1 hour less than normal. Will you have changed by then? Otherwise there is only 8 hours difference.

Either way it sounds fine.

I just did a quick calculation with my international clock. At this very moment it is 11.20pm on Thursday night here in Sydney and 4.20am Thursday morning in Seattle, making a 17 hour time difference. So, yep, just confirming that I will be joining the movie viewing starting at 2pm on Nov 7 Seattle time, which will be 9am Nov 8 Sydney time.

Now all I need is for someone to explain to me how I watch the movie AND engage in chat at the same time -  my TV and PC are in different rooms!

Yeah, I have the same problem.   ::)

As I see it the only solution is to move one of the devices. For me it's probably a bigger hassle to move the PC with its zillions of appliances and cords, than moving the TV and the DVD-player. So that's what I'm planning to do.

have you ever used the chat here on Bettermost?

Once you enter it, it´s a small, "floating" window. I usually watch the movie in the background and then have the "floating" window in corner somewhere.

I just tried. Seems I can't watch DVDs on my computer....  >:(

I don't know if I can connect the DVD player to the comp.....shit... >:(
