Jimbo's bar is rebuilt, top of Moose Mountain is covered in snow, but the temperature is still ok in the foothills for the boys to camp and 'fish'

Yes loong time no see (((Chuck))) and (((Sonja)))
Whatever happened to the trips to Alberta? Missing you all

No trip this year  :(

The first odd year since 2007 that brokies haven't toured Alberta  :(

Do you know if the picnic area at Elbow Creek is restored?
Even if we can never get our site back, it would be nice to know that the rest is built up again.

I wonder about that too.   I also wish the log bridge could be restored.

Sadly they will never restore the picnic area at Elbow Falls. There is a sign telling people that repairs are not possible and where else they can go for picnics.
But the interesting thing is that people still come and bring their own BBQs and still picnic there It is a well loved area

Where had you found THE bench? I looked for it in vain...

How sad that it won't be restored.

As for the bench, we found it some place downstream, by chance.  It was very distinctive and different from the normal picnic benches, so it stood out.  But, everything was so destroyed and disoriented, I couldn't tell you exactly where it was.

Could you imagine, a large group of Brokies going around and restoring the sites?

Surprisingly, I can see them here at work. What does the plaque on the bench say?
"It is required of every man that the spirit within him should walk abroad among his fellow-men, and travel far and wide."--Charles Dickens.
