Here's my version

Mulled Cranberry Cider Recipe
Serves/Makes:   16

Ingredients:
2 small orange, peel and juice only
16 cups cranberry apple drink
1/2 cup brown sugar -- packed
2 cinnamon stick
2 teaspoons whole cloves

Directions:

Cut the orange peel into strips. Combine orange juice, cranberry juice, and brown sugar in crockpot.

Combine orange peel, cinnamon stick, and cloves in a cheesecloth pouch tied with a string. Place in crockpot. Cover; cook on low for 5-7 hours or on high for 2-3 hours. Remove spice bag.

Recipe can be cut in half without problems and is wonderful on a cold night, in front of the fire, with a scrabble board and someone you love.  Also takes a hit of Jack Daniels well for those of you who like their cider with a kick  ;)

Oh, I love mulled cider! Here's my "quick and easy" version (which may be specific to the Philadelphia region):

Go to grocery store.
Buy half-gallon container of Ziegler's spiced apple cider.
Return home.
Pour spiced cider into microwave-safe mug.
Heat to your preferred temperature for a hot beverage.

 ;)

(Goes good with rum added.  ;D )

(Seriously, a couple of years ago, just after I found packages of pre-mixed mulling spices at a local farmer's market, Ziegler's started marketing apple cider that was "pre-spiced." Now I'm too lazy to make my own.  :D )

Simplicity is one of the highest virtues, Jeff!  Thanks for the tip (and the chuckle).  ;D

This sounds delicious, and less dangerous for the carpet at a party.  I am laughing at the idea of white "sangria" though. Is it made only of white blood platelets? :D

Probably, LOL. Actually in spanish it is called Limoná, but the right translation is white sangria, even though it doesn't make much sense.  ;)

Quarter cup of eggnog ..

One of my favorites as well.  Bailey's also goes well with hot chocolate.
